Explore Hiroshima


This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located in Miya-Jima, is one of Japan's most amazing views, the temples around Miya-Jima are also magnificent and are considered national treasures by the japanese government. This construction dates back from the 6th century.

Hiroshima Museum of Art

The Hiroshima Museum of Art was founded in 1989 and is located in Hijiyama Park, this museum has an important exhibition of works of art of many famous painters such as Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh and Renoir, and also from japanese painters as Yoshitomo Nara.

Municipal Baseball Stadium

The Hiroshima Stadium is located at the northern end of the Peace Park. The Toyo Carp is the Hiroshima's team, it's worth to see a game, so try to see at least one.


This is a reconstruction of an original temple built by Mori Terumoto, is also called Carp Castle or Castle of the Carp, is a five-story main tower and a historic temple which host now a local museum. Furthermore, from the top of the tower there is a splendid view of the city.


At the east of Hiroshima-jo are located the Shukkei-en Garden on the banks of the River Ota, there are many teahouses and pools around. Was built by by Asano Nagaakira in an effort to imitate the Xihu lake from Hangzhou, China.

Fudoin Temple

Fudoin Temple is considered a national treasure for japanese government and is the best example of Muromachi period (14th-16th C) architecture. Is also one of the largest structures in the medieval Kara style in Japan.
