Some of the temples you can visit in this city are Kiyomizu Temple, Kinkakuji Temple, Ginkakuji Temple, Byodoin Temple, Chionin Temple and Kegonji Temple and the shrines you'll better visit are Heian Jingu Shrine, Yasaka Shrine, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kamigamo Shrine and Shimogamo Shrine.

Kyoto receives more than ten million visitors each year, and has many reasons for that, the only city that was not attacked by the bombing in World War II, the atmosphere in Kyoto is very traditional and peaceful.
