Kinkakuji Temple
Also known as the Golden Pavilion, the original building was constructed in 1397 and was the residence of Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, the actual building
was constructed in 1955 as the original one was burnt by a student monk, and in 1987 it was recovered with gold five times thicker than the oldest one.

Ninnaji Temple
In ancient times this building was the Omuro Palace and its construction began in 886, the actual buildings date from the seventeenth century, has
as main icon a five-story pagoda of 108ft/33m high, the Temple is now school of the Buddhist Shingon sect.

Daitokuji Temple
Was established in 1319 is a Rinzai Buddhist temple and was considered one of the five sacred mountains, its name was Ryuho-zan which means
"dragon treasure mountain". Has an impresionant architecture and ceremony tea rooms, can be visited in guided tours.

Toei Uzumasa Eigamura
If you get tired of temples and you're travelling with your kids come to visit the Toei Uzumasa Eiga Mura also known as Kyoto Studio Park, its a film
set where you can take photos of you wearing samurai clothes and you can see traditional streets as they were in ancient periods.

Enryakuji Temple
Enryakuji Temple was one of the most important temples in Japan, it's the head of Tendai sect and was founded in 806, at first the temple was property of
a chinese family who came to Japan. Has three main parts: Todo, Saito and Yokawa area.
