Arashiyama

This is a pleasant atmosphere in one of the most touristic districts in Kyoto, the environment is very quiet, the mountain Arashiyama and the Togetsukyo Bridge are just two of the things you can see in this area, there are boat tours to cover the river.



Tenryuji Temple

Considered one of the best Zen Temples, the Tenryuji Temple is located in the Arashiyama Area and was constructed in 1339 by the shogun Ashikaga Takauji, at the beginning it was occupied by the Danrin-ji Temple, its name means “Temple of the Heavenly Dragon".


Katsura Imperial Villa

The Katsura Rikyu was the residence of the Katsura japanese imperial family and the construction finished in 1645, the gardens inside the villa are a nation's treasure and are a masterpiece of gardening. Tours are only in japanese and are held daily.
