Japanese Grammar
Basic Japanese grammar is simple. Complicating factors such as gender articles and distinctions among plural and singular are missing almost completely. Conjugation rules for verbs and adjectives are simple and almost free of exceptions. Nouns are not declined at all, but appear always in the same form.
The Japanese grammar has several specific characteristics, for the most part because it is so scarcely related to other languages. Japanese grammar is very sensible and very well connected. Some of its features are:
- In Japanese the predicate always stands at the end of the sentence.
- The verbs don't change depending on the person, gender or number.
- The nouns don't have plural or gender.
- The dependence among words in a sentence is expressed thru particles which follow the words affected.
