Eating in SapporoThe Sapporo's cuisine relies on its simplicity and natural flavours of the own ingredients, this is different to the traditional Japanese cuisine. Its recipes contain crab, scallops, and salmon are local specialties. Restaurants with this type of cuisine are popular in the city. Beer is the drink of choice to accompany these dishes and Sapporo is the native home of Japanese beer.
